The end of October is an eventful time in downtown Willoughby. In the next two weeks, there are 11 events taking place in and around the Willoughby community.
Grand Opening of the Vintage Emporium

Brew Co Boogie
This Friday night, October 21st, the Willoughby Brewing Company will be hosting Disco Inferno. The band never disappoints and always packs the house. They kickoff at 10:00 pm. Be sure to get there early if you want a front row spot.
Will-Boo
On Saturday, the 22nd from 1 pm – 3 pm, bring all the kiddos out to trick or treat in downtown Willoughby. Businesses, shops and restaurants will be handing out candy all afternoon.
Yin Yoga for Athletes
Harmony Yoga Studios is hosting a special event, Yin Yoga for Athletes, on Saturday from 1:30-3:30 pm at their studio on Third Street in downtown Willoughby. Yin Yoga is great runners, cyclists, and workout enthusiasts, as it aids in recovery from strenuous activity and improves range of motion. This workshop will offer a brief overview of Yin Yoga, followed by a Yin flow to put ease into your step. Targeted areas are those most often affected by athletic activity: large muscle groups, hamstrings, IT bands, hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Come and experience a new level of flexibility and body awareness. The cost for the workshop is $30.
Tremonts at Sol!
Saturday evening the Tremonts will be performing at Sol starting at 8:30 pm. Grab a meal and relax with a refreshing beverage, while listening to magical sounds of blues, soul, and rock and roll.
Reiki and Brunch
Elite Repeats is busy this weekend with events. On Sunday, October 23, they will be hosting a Reiki and Brunch event for guests. All guests will receive one Reiki healing sessions from Edward Laylin and his fellow masters. The event will be a great time for spiritual healing and stress relief. You won’t want to miss out on the delicious brunch appetizers provided by All Ohio Catering. The cost for the event is $15.00.
Live Acoustic Jams: Specialty Vinyasa
This Sunday morning stop by Harmony Yoga Studios on Third Street for a special Power Vinyasa class. Natalie will be leading the class while musical genius Shawn Brewster will accompany the session with live music. There is no additional charge for this class if you already have a package. Bring a friend who is new to Harmony, and get a free class. Class starts at 10:15 and is limited to 50 students.
Cork and Canvas
Next Tuesday, October 25th, Corks Wine Bar will host its monthly Cork and Canvas event. Artist and instructor, David Barresi, will be leading participants on a fun-filled artistic journey. Typically the Cork and Canvas event is on the third Thursday of every month, but since the Indian are doing so well it had to be moved back a week. The event will take place from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm. The price of admission is $30 and includes canvas, paint, and art supplies. There will be a cash bar with drink discounts, and each person will receive a free sample of a new sparkling wine. Great Lakes Beer Dinner at the Morehouse
The Morehouse is bringing another one of their wonderful craft beer tastings back just in time for fall. This event will feature Great Lakes Brewery and a 5-course meal. The event will take place on Thursday, October 27th and costs $35 per person.
Halloween In DTW
Saturday, October 29th, will be a Halloween Celebration all throughout downtown Willoughby. As of right now, the Willoughby Brewing Company and The Wild Goose will be hosting costume parties with prize giveaways. Frank and Tony’s has an official party scheduled for the evening, as well. Each bar and restaurant will have Halloween festive decor, so feel free to stop by any one of your favorites.
Willoughby Trick or Treat
Trick or treating in Willoughby will take place on October 31st from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Please make sure to leave a light on if you are passing out candy.
