Captain Palumbo DTW Pub Crawl

A Great Event for a Great Cause!
On August 30, 2015, Fire Captain/Paramedic Michael Palumbo was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer known as Glioblastoma Multiforme. Michael is a devoted husband and loving father of five, so it came as no surprise to those who know him that he chose to courageously and selflessly fight this disease. With a combined 50 years’ service between Beachwood and Willowick Fire, Michael’s mission in life has been to serve others. Even when faced with this cancer diagnosis, he has not wavered from that mission. While he remains steadfast in the battle for his health, he is currently focusing more closely on how he can help his fellow firefighters. Early on in his diagnosis, Michael shared his ambition to ensure the passing of Senate Bill 27, which would provide all of his brother firefighters in the state of Ohio with presumptive cancer legislation. His family at the fire department is here to stand beside him in this fight. We have put together a benefit pub crawl in Downtown Willoughby to raise funds for Captain Palumbo and his family. Firefighters will be spread throughout the bars and restaurants at this event selling raffle tickets and raising awareness for Senate Bill 27. Please come join us in supporting these two great causes.

(A limited amount of t-shirts will be available the day of the event for $20. Cash only)
There will be 50/50 raffles at The Wild Goose and Nickleby’s as well as prizes up for raffle at each bar that donated to show their support and be part of the pub crawl.
