25th Annual Willoughby ArtsFest
July 16, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
25 years strong, the annual Willoughby ArtsFest is back and better than ever! Attracting anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000 people, this event is one of the largest and most popular during the summer months in Downtown Willoughby. This is a time for artists of all kinds to come together and celebrate the beauty of art and to share their work with the world. With around 150 artists being featured, there will be a variety of unique pieces of art on display and available to purchase.
The list of pieces of work featured at the fest is endless. With hundreds of creative minds comes a wide variety of unique art. Some artwork include paintings, photography, jewelry, woodcarving, glass artwork, pottery and ceramics, and other home accessories. With thousands of pieces of art to choose from, it is truly an event filled with talent while celebrating the arts.
Aside from all of the beautiful art, there will also be delicious food and beverage vendors to keep you satisfied during the all day event. With vendors such as The Almond Shop, Island Delights, and Classic Kettle Corn, visitors can grab a cold smoothie to cool off or some warm roasted peanuts right on the streets. Many restaurants and bars will also be open for food and drink options as well as other local businesses to stop in for a little shopping. This year, the fest will also feature a car painted white for adults and kids alike to make into a beautiful piece of art while leaving their mark. In addition, street performers will also fill the streets with their art: music!
This fest is put on by the Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce and the ArtsFest Committee, and is sponsored by many different organizations and businesses. Without all of these people as well as volunteers of the fest, this incredible event would not be possible.
