The 6th Annual Downtown Willoughby Chili Cook Off is right around the corner. On Saturday, October 8th from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm local restaurants will be serving chili out front of their establishments. Each restaurant will feature their take on chili, in hopes to win your vote for favorite chili. Samples will be available for $2.00 at all participating restaurants. Proceeds from the event go to benefit the Willoughby-Eastlake Schools and their boosters.
The list of participants are as follows: Mullarkey’s, Frank and Tony’s, The Morehouse, The Wild Goose, Cork’s Wine Bar, Nickleby’s, Oliver Twist, Sol, Ballantine’s, and Willoughby Brewing Company.
John Bowers, President of the Bar and Restaurant Association, says he loves Chili Cook-Off every year. “The creativity of the participating restaurants makes it a fun event for us and the community.”
