4th of July Fireworks
As tradition, South High School will be displaying incredible fireworks in celebration of our nation. A true display of pride, these fireworks are a perfect opportunity to bring the family together. Come watch the rockets red glare this July 4th, and see our pride light up the sky. The City of Willoughby will provide the fireworks starting at 9:45 pm.
Summer Concert Series
Jam out to all of your favorite tunes every Thursday night, right in the heart of Downtown Willoughby. On Thursdays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, bands such as Red Light Roxy, Joe Bell and the Swing Lizards, and The Don Disantis Orchestra will be playing in the Wes Point Park Gazebo. Whether you like Rock, Country, or R&B, the artists are bringing it all! The series also has music dating back from the 20’s! These performers will bring to life the sounds of artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, as well as Frank Sinatra and many more famous singers from history. ArtsFest
In its 25th year, the annual ArtsFest is one of the largest attractions in Downtown Willoughby during the summer months. This is a time for artists to emerge and have the chance to show the world their unique art. Many different artists will be featured, selling and displaying various products such as paintings, jewelry, pictures, and many more pieces of work. Food and beverage vendors as well as street performers will also be featured at this event. For more information, check out the Willoughby ArtsFest Facebook page or website.
